Terms of Use
Last updated: September 20, 2026
These terms govern your use of glauq.com. By using the site you accept them. They cover this website: any engagement for SR&ED services is governed by the separate agreement we sign with you, and where that agreement conflicts with these terms, it wins.
This site is information, not tax advice
Everything published here — the guides, the blog, the provincial pages, the calculator, and the eligibility check — is general information about Canada’s SR&ED program. It is not tax, accounting, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for advice about your specific situation from a qualified advisor. Reading this site does not create a professional relationship between us.
The calculator and eligibility check are estimates
The SR&ED calculator produces an illustrative estimate from the numbers you enter and published federal and provincial rates. The eligibility check produces an indicative signal from a short questionnaire. Neither is a prediction of what the Canada Revenue Agency will allow. Your actual credit depends on facts we have not seen, on how your work meets the statutory tests, and on CRA’s review. Do not make financial decisions on the basis of either tool alone.
Accuracy
We source rates, deadlines, and program rules from official government publications and update them when the program changes. Tax law changes, and pages can fall out of date between updates. Always confirm against the current CRA and provincial guidance, or ask us, before you rely on a number.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the site in a way that degrades it for others;
- republish substantial portions of our content as your own;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its underlying systems;
- use the forms to send unlawful, misleading, or abusive content.
You may quote and link to our content with attribution. Automated access by search engine and AI assistant crawlers is welcome within the limits set in our robots.txt.
Our content
The text, design, and software on this site belong to Glauq unless stated otherwise. Government publications we cite belong to their respective Crown copyright holders.
Liability
The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your reliance on information published here, including any shortfall between an estimate on this site and the credit you actually receive. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
